Abstract

Ductal carcinoma of the prostate is a rare histologic subtype of prostate carcinoma. It represents 0.2% of all prostate cancers and is associated with a poor prognosis. Our case , 78 years old man,  app-lied our clinic with complaint of of hematuria. Papillary urethral mass was shown on verru montanum by endoscopy. We performed transurethral resection. Diagnosis of prostate ductal adenocarsino-ma was diagnosed by the result of histopatologic and immunohis-tochemical examination. The patient was treated by hormonothe-rapy and radiotherapy and received a positive response.

The ductal adenocarcinoma of prostate is a rarely seen tumor. The tumors have poor prognoses and may require aggressive treat-ment. Therefore, the early diagnosis and treatment of ductal adeno-carcinoma is very important. The ductal adenocarcinoma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of the prostate carcinomas

Key Words: Ductal carcinoma, prostate cancer, male
