Abstract

Sarcomatous lesions of kidney are rare and most frequent subtype is leiomyosarcoma. With preoperative diagnostic screenings it can be dis-tinguished from classical renal cell cancer (RCC) by its low contrast enhancement. If completely resected, usually another treatment modality, such as radiotherapy and chemoterapy, is not needed. In this case report we aimed to present a renal leiomyosarcoma of a female patient who has previous history of mandibular chondrosar-coma and ductal carcinoma of breast.

Key Words: kidney tumor, leiomyosarcoma, preoperative biopsy.
