Clean intermittent self -catheterizati-on (CISC) is a treatment method that is used approximately for 40 years for bladder evacu-ation in various lower urinary tract disorders. The most frequent complication in patients per-forming CISC is urinary tract infection. Seve-ral catheterization in the same day, rises comp-lication rates also in the CISC. Urethral strictu-re and urethral false passages are potential pa-tologies which can develop as a result of CISC. A case report of a patient, who developed an urethral avulsion due to CISC, a complication not reported previously in the literature is pre-sented. Urethral meatus was located at the pe-noscrotal region and the native urethra was di-sappeared until the tip of the penis.
