Benign fibroepithelial polyp of prostatic urethra is a rare congenital lesion. It is usually diagnosed in the pediatric population with va-rious urinary symptoms and its etiology is cont-roversial. Presenting symptoms are intermittent urinary retention, inadequate bladder emptying, hematuria, and urinary tract infection and rarely may it be asymptomatic. The diagnosis is usually made by ultrasonography, voiding cystoureth-rography, and urethrocystoscopy. In this case; 9 years old patient who admitted with intermittent obstructive urinary tract symptoms and then di-agnosed posterior urethral fibroepithelial polyp, presented with literature. A mass extending from prostatic urethra to bladder neck and into blad-der was detected by cystoscopy. The mass was re-sected with a transurethral intervention. Patho-logical assessment came as fibroepithelial polyp. The patient has not voiding symptoms at control examination.
