Abstract

Epidermoid cysts are the most common be-nign tumors of the testis, but constitute of only 1-2% of all testicular tumors. It is mostly seen between the second and fourth decades of life. They are usually diagnosed during patient self- examination or physical examination perfor-med by a physician. Histologically, distinction of epidermoid cyst and the dermoid cysts and teratomas is important. Main treatment is radical orchiectomy. But especially in pediatric patients testis-sparing surgery with frozen section analy-sis should be considered among the options. In this case report we present a seventeen years old patient who diagnosed of testicular epidermoid cyst and the treatment options are discussed.

Key Words:  Epidermal cyst, orchiectomy, testis, testicular neoplasms
