Abstract

Myxoid tumours of soft tissue encompass a heterogeneous group of lesions characteri-sed by a variable abundance of extracellular matrix. Aggressive Angiomyxoma is a rare mesenchymal benign myxoid tumor of the pelvis and perineum which occurs almost exclusively in adult females. Overall, its inci-dence is about 6-folds higher in females  and it is usually locally infiltrating and has a high risk of local recurrence after excision. Rarely, this tumor appears in males in the scrotal, presented as a scrotal mass mimicking hydro-cele or hernia. In our case presentation, we ai-med to discuss scrotal aggressive angiomyxo-ma radiologically mimicking the epididymal cyst that occured in 40 years age male patient with current literature.

Keywords: Angiomyxoma, myxoid, epi-didymal cyst
